Artrice Brewer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Director of Clinical Services, Mental Health Consultant, Ordained Minister, creative arts leader, and entrepreneur. Artrice has dedicated her life to helping people discover healing, purpose, and lasting change. Her personal motto, "Transformation is Necessary," reflects not only her professional work but also the message she has carried throughout her life.
Over the past two decades, Artrice has walked alongside individuals and families facing some of life's greatest challenges. Whether serving through counseling, ministry, mentorship, leadership development, dance instruction, or community advocacy, she has consistently encouraged others to embrace the process of growth, trusting that transformation produces rewards.
Her journey into service began with a deep desire to help others overcome obstacles and discover the hope that comes through healing. That desire led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roosevelt University in 1997 and later a Master of Social Work from Chicago State University in 2006. Today, she practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, bipolar disorder, domestic violence recovery, and self-esteem development.
With more than 20 years of experience in social services and behavioral health, Artrice has become a trusted source of support and guidance for hundreds of individuals. Throughout her career, she has conducted more than 6,500 counseling and coaching sessions, serving approximately 450 clients. Her expertise has earned recognition through respected platforms such as BetterHelp and Psychology Today, where individuals from various backgrounds have sought her insight and care.
As an ordained minister, she believes true healing addresses both the heart and the spirit. By integrating evidence-based therapeutic practices with faith-based Christian counseling, she creates a space where individuals can pursue emotional wellness while strengthening their relationship with God. Her compassionate approach allows each person to receive care that aligns with their personal needs, values, and spiritual journey.
Artrice's passion for transformation is also expressed through creativity and the arts. As the founder of Amazing You Fashions, LLC and Embracing Transformation, LLC, she has created platforms that encourage confidence, personal growth, and self-expression. Through these ventures, she continues to inspire others to embrace who God created them to be.
One of her greatest joys, however, has been serving through dance.
Her journey in dance ministry led her to graduate from the Eagles International Training Institute of Dance and the Eagles TEN Worldwide Network of Southwest Illinois, where she earned her License in Dance and Choreography. Over the last sixteen years, she has ministered through dance across multiple states, using movement as a powerful expression of worship.
In 2013, Artrice began teaching dance at Family Word International Church in Chicago, Illinois. Just one year later, she completed advanced dance ministry training through the TEN Eagles Network and went on to serve as an instructor herself. Today, she serves as Director of Dance at St. John Church Temple in Chicago and as a Dance Ministry Leader for Kingdom Gathering.
Through every dance team she mentors, Artrice seeks to cultivate more than technical excellence. She develops worshippers. Her choreography, teaching, and leadership help others use their gifts to honor God and lead people into His presence.
Whether counseling a client, mentoring a leader, ministering through dance, designing fashion, or sharing the hope of Christ, Artrice's mission remains the same: to help people embrace transformation.
